The Takk are back in town
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Takkeboys on the move

Who we are and what we do

We are all Takkeboys

The Takkeboys have been performing at parties, weddings and other festivities since the late eighties, early nineties. The group is continuously rejuvenating itself and has a diverse crew of dedicated musicians. The precise date of birth of the Takkeboys is not known and there are no records of the middle nineties, the so-called 'lost years'.

'The group is continuously rejuvenating itself'

Gradually the fame of the Takkeboys has increased and the number of performances has increased dramatically over the last few years. The Takkeboys can be hired for parties and festivities and will set up a programme in direct consultation with the client.

One could produce endless evidence to the effect that the Takkeboys, beginning at their birth and continuing almost without interruption to the present day, have held an unassailable position as one of the most popular artist groups of the world and one of the supreme poets of all time. Perhaps better than anything else, a short tour throughout the past decades of Takkeboy criticism might give us some insight into the stature and nature of their talents.

"The Takkeboys are a phenomenon who of all the modern, and perhaps ancient artists, have the most comprehensive soul." (JD)

"The Takkeboys came forward as a group to demand the throne of fame, as the dramatic band of this world." (STC)

"[Theirs is] a talent more than any the world has seen, which reconciles us to being human beings, unsatisfactory hybrids, not good enough for gods, not good enough for animals. We are all Takkeboys. The Takkeboys are our redeemers." (AB)

"The Takkeboys show an all-round dramatic excellence and a supreme gift of language; nobody has given me a gallery of emotions so vast as this band." (AD)

"This is a group right and inevitable. The riches that comes from such a complex mass of words and melodies is enormous. They are for all time." (BJ)
